Will Misuse Of Clobatosole Propionate Cause Ance?
Hi sir, I misused Clobatosole propionate (propysalic nf) cream on face, neck, hands and legs,single application. my skin is looking paper thin, consulted some doctors, but still condition is same. Did cortisol test also, 1 point is more than the actual cortisol level. suffering from severe acne... hands and face looking like aged. am only 23 yrs old. Please help me to cure this problem..

Yes you are right. This medicine can cause paper thin skin with acne. It increases bacterias on skin surface and results in acne. After using antibiotics like doxycycline acne reduces.

Clobatosole propionate is a steroidal drug. Application of steroids locally often cause acne.
I would recommend stopping use of the ointment immediately if you are still using it. For treatment of acne I would sugest-
Wash face regularly 3-4 times a day with a gentle soap. Apply Retinoid ointment with a local antibiotic ointment like Clindamycin with benzyl peroxide combination. An oral course of antibiotic like Amoxycillin after consultation with your doctor.
Other skin problems like thin skin will improve with time. The increase in your blood cortisol is not due to use of the ointment as Clobatosole is not absorbed in blood through skin to that extent.
