Will My Breasts Grow With A History Of Anorexia?

Hello. When I was 13, I had anorexia. Because of that, of course, I have no breasts, they are really really small. It jus didn't develop correctly. Būdama 13 metų, sirgau tokia baisia liga anoreksija. When I recovered, i went to doctor to treat my ginecological problems. Doctor told me to drink contraceptics for more than a year. Then my menstruations gone again and I went to better doctor. So, that better doctor analysed my hormons and told it was good, so she prescribed to drink duphaston for a few months and my period came back itself. Now I am 16, 165cm, weight 53kg, it is more than a year im like that. But will my breasts grow? I mean normaly, couse now its none. Will i be able to have child? I am terrified of it.

Hi,
Breast development doesnt depend on diet. So anorexia doesnt matter. It depends on hormone levels during puberty. Now, at 16, your development is complete. So, natural development is unlikely. If you are having normal, monthly menstruation, there pregnancy is definitely an option.

Hi,
You were diagnosed with Anorexia nervosa which were treated accordingly and now you have normal hormone level is good signs of treatment . As you have shown positive results towards your treatment you ll def have normal breast size and pregnancy is possible .
So don't worry and be on regular follow up with your doc u ll def get child.
