Will My Lichen Planus-induced Hyperpigmentation Fade, And How Can I Prevent Further Spread?

I have lichen planus ... Started developing after my typhoid nd gastritis medication... Discoloration started all over body in patch form.... Hands nd legs are still not completely involved.... There are no bumps no rashes from start...prutitis is minimal to mil... There are only hyperpigmentation spots... I m on oral steroid right ... I m following anti-inflammatory diet...will my skin colour resolve back to normal... How do I stop further spread

Hello,

If it is only lichen planus, the pigmentation will slowly fade. It may take months together to resolve. If it is lichen planus pigmentosus (LPP), you will need patience.
