Will My Periods Stop If I Take Primolut?

I started taking Primolut the same day my period started (yesterday) and the bleeding stopped yesterday but has started again today. Will it stop my periods? as I need it to stop by tomorrow? My doctor advised me to start today, but i started one day early in hope of stopping them before they started Help
