Will Normal Blood And Urine Test Indicate About STD?

Do normal blood and urine tests at er provide any indication of std. I had protected sex three years ago with someone I did not know and have had no symptoms. Went to er and had routine urine and blood test. Still no symptoms just wondering since I have read some stds have no symptoms.
