Will Original Complexion Return On Coming Off Of Meladerm?

I have been using meladerm for six months to 8 months or so. i notice their is a darker line across my forehead that wasn't their at first. the product lighten the surrounding areas leaving a line on my forehead. the product has also made me too light in areas where i stop applying the product, should i stop using the product? will i go back to my original complexion?? If i stop using this product will my skin tan like it normally did before i started using this product? because am trying to get my original complexion back, is the complexion i am now permanent? i have read online that my skin will get darker than my original complexion. is this true, please help!!
