Will Prescription Of Hydrocodone / Acetaminophen Be Changed Or Stopped If The Dosage Prescribed Is Not Followed?

I am on a pain medication called hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325. The prescription says take one every 6 hrs as needed. I never need to take that many per day. Will my doctor stop my prescription if I have not been exceeding or taking the amounts allowed?
