Will Replacing Nexplanon Implant With Phentermine Stop Weight Gain?
Hello, i am 18 years old and about 2 years ago i got out on birth control and was told i would gain ZERO pounds. little did i know that was a big fat lie! after i was put on the nexplanon implant, i started to rapidly gain weight. i talked to some friends and they got it, and had the same problem. and taking the weight off is nearly impossible. i am 5 7 & weighed 156, and currently stay in between the 180 s and 90 s, which is very bad. i want to go to my doctor about Phentermine, but do not know how to approach them with the issue. and dont know the cost, if thats an issue for me. I plan to get the implant taken out soon so the weight gain hopefully stops, and i just need help and more info! please help! :)

It cannot be said if the gained weight was from contraception. There is a small risk anyway. Phentermine is a good alternative to loose weight. You can consult a dietitian to help you loosing weight.
