Will Smoking A Weed Pen Affect My Recovery After Pilonidal Cyst Removal?

Will smoking a weed pen affect my recovery time. I just had my pilondial cyst removed a week ago. I did the open wound method, so I shower and repack my open wound with a bandage 3x a day. I found that smoking the pen helps me go to sleep and rest, can I continue to do this or how long will be I pushing my recovery too much?
