Will Soap Powder Carving During Pregnancy Affect Fetus?

Hi I am 33+4weeks pregnant with second child, and i'm having very weird cravings with soap powder. I know its wrong but i cant seem to stop myself eating a little every day. Yesterday i had an upset stomach and ended up on the loo for about half an hour :/ will my baby be deformed because of my stupidity?

thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com....

well these kind of craving for unusual items can happen in pregnancy but it is advisable to avoid these things....
at 33 weeks of pregnancy, it is unlikely to affect the fetus but it will affect your health and your ill health can eventually be a cause of your baby's distress....
so control yourself and if you can't, you can talk to your gynaecologist for some remedy...though control and avoidance is most important.....

hope this was useful...
regards
