About 10 to 15 percent of women reporting some bleeding during the first sixteen weeks of pregnancy and you might be one among them. There is no reason to worry as your doctor has given medications which you have taken. This is due to slight imbalance in hormones during the initial stages of pregnancy and taking medications helps in maintaining the balance and allowing the pregnancy to progress normally. Studies have shown that bleeding during the first 8 weeks of naturally‐conceived pregnancies seems to occur without clear physiologic cause. Most pregnancies with very early bleeding proceeded to a normal delivery and a healthy live birth.
You can get an ultrasound scan done right now to confirm that the fetus growth is normal and as per your dates.
