Will Stress Cause Blood In Stool?

I have been extremely stressed for about a year and for the last few months every time I have passed a stool there is quite a lot of blood in it, on the paper the blood is bright red but in the pan it appears darker. Could this be related to the stress at all?

Yes stress has been associated with loose motions, irritable bowel syndrome but blood in stools can be due to piles or fissures. Kindly visit a surgeon first for bleeding per anus and psychiatrist for stress management.
