Will Taking Ecosprin Help Cure Pain In Ear?

After two hours of travelling by air I got severe pain in my ear. I had a mild cold. Still three hours after landing it is very painful. Normally it was not the case. My age is 62 yrs. Can I take one Ecosprin 75 mg. which contains Acetylselicylic Acid IP 75 mg.

hello, thanks for ur query, aspirin is a oto toxic drug can cause bleeding and hearing loss. post landing ear pain could be due to eusthacian tube dysfunction . kindly evaluate by an ent surgeon for d cause of ear pain. all d best. take care. for pain simple paracetamol 500 mg can be taken. all d best. take care.
