Will Taking Meftab Be Effective For High Fever?

Hello Doctor, I have a fever(101 C) from past one week, My doctor prscribed follwing tablets Resipic 150,Lover. I had above tablet from past 3 days, My fever is not coming down. Today i met my doctor again and he prescribed Meftal 500mg. He asked me take this tablet while fever is there. Also he asked me complete the earlier course which he prescribed. Can you suggest me

COntinue the same treatment and if the fever persisted despite finishing hte meds then seek a doctor for further work up of this fever.Do as directed and let them decide what it is from in case it remained and persisted.
