Sir, I am having tryglyceride 375,HDL-38,LDL- 173,Total Chlestrol -287, Wt-65 kg,hieght-hieght 5 ft 3 inch and doctor advised me to take Novastat TG 10. Please suggest me whether i am taking right medicine and are there any side effect of this medicine
Thanks for contacting HCM. Dear Avdhesh you have not mentioned whether you have associated Diabetes? Your weight is obviously on the higher side. If you have diabetes then you need to keep blood glucose levels in check. lowering body weight will benefit too. Medicine prescribed to you is the correct medicine. All drugs have some side effects but one need not worry unnecessarily over them, rather not taking drugs and letting the disease get out of control can be more dangerous. Abnormal lipid profile requires diet modification and regular exercise in addition to drugs. regards
