Will Taking Clarithromycin During Pregnancy Harm Baby?

hello, i found out i was 6 weeks pregnant, i have taken clarithromycin before i knew this for one week. what effects will this have on the baby and is it an option considering termination due to malformations. please help as im very stressed and very confused.

Hi, I think u don't worry. Although this medicine is category c that means it can be given if there is no alternative .Animal studies show there is increased risk of Cardiovascular anomaly and cleft lip. But in thereputic dose its not going to harm in human foetus.
