Will Taking Injection During Pregnancy Harm The Baby?
hi, i am 26, and i have a girl child. i conceived again four months back and aborted the child naturally aftr two months. now after three months of abortion i have again conceived. my family doctor has put me on fragmin,dalteparine injections as she says that i have a disbalance aptt report of my blood. so what should i do now ,are these injections safe for me and my baby.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Deranged APTT can be due to any coagulation disorder or antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. In this, heparin or low molecular weight heparin injection are daily given to prevent the complications like gestation hypertension of pregnancy, intrauterine growth restriction, abortion or sudden intrauterine death.Dalteparin is low molecular weight heparin and can be safely given in pregnancy.
