Will Taking Paxidep During Early Pregnancy Stage Harm Baby?

My wife and I have found out some 48 hours ago that she is pregnant. We have calculated that she had been taking Paxidep 12.5, once every two days for upto 6 weeks after conception. I am now sure whether this will have an adverse impact on the baby, we would really appreciate some advice.

Paxidep is reported to cause heart defects in developing baby. Hence it is not advisable to take during pregnancy. If your wife is taking it, better consult your obstetrician to have the opinion on how safe is it for the developing baby to continue the pregnancy.
