Hi

Hair loss is not a common side effect.Hair loss can also occur as a part of hormonal imbalance. It is essential to identify the cause of irregular periods and treat the cause along with hormonal pills inorder to regularise the periods.

The cause of irregular periods such as polycystic ovaries, obesity and hypothyroidism should be treated effectively.

FSH LH ratio is about 1:1 - meaning the FSH and LH levels in the blood are similar. FSH and LH are often both in the range of about 4-8 in young fertile women. These levels should be evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
