Will The Drug Users Blood Fall On The Cut Of My Hand Causes HIV?

Hi....i cut my hand yesterday and few hours later i helped unknown person who was bleeding pretty heavily and i could see by his arms that he was a drug user.his blood was dripping all over my cut.does that mean i might have hiv.couldnt ask him as he was heavily drunk

Hi, thanks for using HCM
In My opinion you having a contact with blood of any person over a wound is a matter of concern. You should not delay. Get your test done and god forbids if anything wrong has happened you should start the medicine immediately. As of now get a test done as soon as you can because you don't know about the HIV status of the other person.
