Will The Fetus Be Effected If There Is Any Pressure On Stomach ?

i am 22wks prgnant n iam working as s/w engineer . i sleep on the desk during no work n there will b pressure on my stomach . does this effect the fetas

Hi,thanks for query.As long as you are comfortable with this there is no problem.The fetus is very well protected inside the uterus minor pressure will not affect it.Please avoid undue pressure on it.When lying down please lie on your left side as it improves circulation to the fetus.

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
That is not a bothering issue.But see that you don’t apply much force on your abdomen.Avoid strenuous work.
As you are a software engineer and you may be having sedentary lifestyle , keep in mind that you should take frequent breaks every 1 hour.Walking in the breaks , taking adequate water would be great as it reduces leg swelling also.
