Will The Headaches Caused After Experiencing An Injury Heal By Itself?

Hi my husband band his head on a sharp handle, which cut him (1 center meter long near the right side above the temple area). He stopped the bleeding and now experiencing headaches....he thinks it will go away...he is still in pain. Dr what should we do?

I would explain that it is quite normal to have some pain this situation. It is caused by the injury to the soft tissues which have been damaged.

Some ibuprofen or acetaminophen will help relieve the pain in the next days.

If his situation does not improve in the next days, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam.
