Will The Medicine, Nozinan, For Bipolar Induce Sleep As I Have Been On Manic High And Insomniac?
i have just been put on NOZINAN for BIPOLAR. I am on a manic high. will this med help me sleep? I ve had insomnia for 5 months. I m really worried about weight gain as I have a fear of gaining weight. how much should I expect to gain and how long does it take. I eat very healthy. what does NOZINAN DO?

For bipolar it may induce sleep but generally it do not control the main pathology and so not FDA approved for bipolar disorder.
It has very little effect over weight gain.
It works by blocking a variety of receptors in the brain, particularly dopamine receptors.
This drug improves disturbed thoughts, feelings and behaviour. It induces a calming effect.
