Will The Numbness On The Tip Of Tongue Due To Cocaine Use Be Permanent ?
Hi, I am experiencing numbness on the tip of my tongue for approximately 2 days. I woke up with it, the night before I used a small amount of cocaine (I rarely do this) and drank alcohol. Could this be permanent? I will be seeing a doctor if the feelings persist. Thank you.
Numbness due to cocaine depends upon the dose and duration of it. Cocaine neurotoxicity is not comparable to Methamphetamine as the later is much more serious and their mechanisms are different. If ur taking cocaine for long duration, in that case this numbness could be due to cocaine. U can go to neurological test to check sensitivity ie nerve conduction test.
Thanks
