Will The Polycystic Ovaries Cause Abdominal Pain And Do I Need To Be Checked For Cancer?

inhomogeneous anteverted uterus has a coarse echopattern measuring 8.5(L) X 5.4 (AP)cm *both ovaries demonstrate multiple follicular cysts on the periphery suggestive of polycystic ovaries Will this cause me to have abdominal pain? Do I need to be checked for cancer?

Hi...polycystic ovaries do not predispose to cancer...they may however cause pain when a cyst may rupture, become hemorrhagic or undergo torsion..
