Will The Results Of Ogtt Test Be Correct When Taken Bfore 120 Minutes?

hi, while going for OGTT test, ihave allowed to give blood sample only after 90 minutes against the recommonded time 120mintutes. result showing the 218 mg. is this the correct result. what would have been the result after 2hrs. should i go for rechecking?

please advice. fasting result was 90mg while empty stomach

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your oral glucose tolerance test can be intercepted at 90 min. So no need to go for repeat test. Your fasting level is normal. You should go for repeat FBS and PP2BS after a month of interval. You can also go for hba1c. It indicates your sugar level of last three months. Then take treatment accordingly.
