Will The Swollen Reddish Lumps Disappear?

i underwent a cautery procedure for my syringoma.after a week, the scabs peeled off and left reddish swollen lumps. it s almost 3 weeks since the procedure was done but the reddish swollen lumps are not disappearing and it seems that they don t even shrink. are these already scars or not? will they still disappear? thank you very much.

Hi, Thanks for query to My HCM virtual Clinic And welcome to HCM services.

I studied all details of your query.

I understood your health concerns about reddish lump after electrocautery of the syringoma.Based on facts of your query,it seems that-
your syringoma(Bump of sweat gland) is partially removed and would require another session of electrocautery, till it is completely removed .
If you want to avoid second session of electrocautery,You have option of using wart removing lotion or cream(OTC),which you can use.The resultant wound would come to normal in 6 months time.
You have option of Laser ablation of the Syringoma, for which I would suggest Second opinion from Dermatologist.
In this situation I would suggest to take Second Opinion from Dermatologist before planning further treatment.

Hope this reply would help you in resolving this complex query and anxiety with it. This would help you to plan treatment with your Dermatologist.

I would appreciate if you hit thanks and write excellent review comments to help needy visiting patients at HCM.

Welcome for any further query in this regards.
Good Day!!
