Will The Testicle Atrophy Return To Normal Size With Time?

Hello, I just had a left vericocelectomy 10 days ago and have noticed some atrophy in my left testicle. I also have a thrombosed vein in the spermatic cord. Should I be concerned about the atrophy or will it return to normal size in time? Thanks so much!

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Recoverable Atrophy of the left testes-as the very purpose of this left Varicocelectomy is to correct this testicular effect, which is caused due to Chronic Venus vascular insufficiency leading to atrophy of the testes in your case.
Hence this atrophy is not the effect of the Varicocelectomy, but is the reason for which You underwent this Varicocelectomy.
There are high chances of your testes coming to normal in next 6 weeks time if everything goes well.
Take care.
Hope this reply would help you to plan further treatment with your family and specialist doctors there.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
