Will There Be Delay In Periods After The First Intercourse?

Hello Doctor, I have a question regarding to sex and period timing. I had sex earlier today and i am pretty sure i pulled out in time... But i do still worry (normal right?). Now my girlfriend says she will be getting her period in 9days according to her calendar. My question is if does turn out to be pregnant, will she still get this upcoming period Or will it postpone or will she completely not get this upcoming period? Also, If she does have her period in 9days, does that mean she is 100%not pregnant?

Hello,

I understand your concern. This is absolutely normal to worry about getting your partner pregnant when you both don't want. This concern is more when it's first time.

Because of sex some hormonal changes can happen and changes menses but not exactly.
Your main concern is about pregnancy then ask your girlfriend to do urine pregnancy test on 30 th day after her last period.

Getting per vaginal bleeding doesn't rule out pregnancy 100 percent. It has many intricacies. Let's not go into that.
Urine pregnancy test is negative is fairly being safe and relaxed.

I hope this helps.
