Will Turmeric Have Negative Interactions With Prednisone?
I have Sarcoidosis and am on three different medications to treat that. One of the meds is Prednisone and recently I ve been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I would like to explore taking Turmeric to control my blood sugar levels. Will Turmeric have negative interactions with Prednisone, Gabapentin, Plaquenil, Rantidine, Omega 3, Low dose aspirin and Antenelol?

Dear patient, turmeric has no role in management of diabetes. Diabetes management requires diet control, exercise and druo. Turmeric can cause thinning of blood and can cause bleeding with other blood thinners like low dose aspirin you are taking. It has no interactions with.prednisone .I hope my reply has been helpful.
