Will Unwanted Kit For Abortion Affect My Health Inspite Of Being Weak?

i am 23 years old and 45 kg i am 23 years old and 45 kg in weight and i am pregnant i am very weak ..to abort my pregnancy i took a dosage of medicine unwanted after which i had some bleeding but the pregnancy did not abort ......now yesterday i got unwanted kit ...so please tell me will it effect my health...... due to my last bleeding i m very much week please suggest me the right way

Hallow Dear,

You have purchased wrong medicine. Unwanted contains Levonorgestrel(0.15 mg) and Ethinylestradiol(0.03 mg) which are medicines for emergency post-coital contraception. They are not abortifacient medicines.

For termination of the pregnancy by medicines, you have to take Tab. Mifepristone followed within 24-48 hours by Tab. Misoprostol in recommended dosage. These medicines are prescription medicines and should be taken only with Gynaecologist's advice and prescription. They have good success rate in terminating pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation.

These medicines can cause developmental abnormalities in the baby. Hence, if they fail to abort the pregnancy, it should be terminated by some surgical procedure like MVA aspiration or so.

These medicines have no long term ill effect on your health.

So please do not take medicines of your own; report to a Gynaecologist for appropriate medical advice.
