Will Using Vaseline Before Going To Bed Help Prevent Wrinkles ?

dear doctor , im 21 male, what should i use for my face to reduce my chances of getting wrinkles? i heard using vaseline is good before going to bed? or rinsing face with cold water?

Hi Bilal, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
Wrinkles at such a young age are very rare, Do you smoke? If yes, you need to QUIT it as it is one of the causative factors for wrinkles at young age. Repeated exposure to the heat from burning cigarettes and the facial expressions you make when smoking such as pursing your lips when inhaling and squinting your eyes to keep out smoke, may contribute to wrinkles. Kindly get yourself examined by a Dermatologist so that he can examine you and Prescribe medications or lotions or creams to apply. Protect your skin from Sun, Eat healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and Green leafy veggies, protein rich foods like eggs, milk, chicken, fish, lentils etc. Avoid stress and sleep for 8 hours daily in the night. Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy weight.
