Will Veet Cream Have An Effect On Medication Taken For Acne?
Hello!
My name is samantha and about a month a go my dermatologist put me on a medication to relieve my face of acne. His name is Dr. Savin in New Haven, Connecticut and he gave me a perscription for a wash, night cream, and a once daily pill. I wanted to use veet cream for my legs and i wasn't sure if it would be okay to use because i have been told that the pill effects you from the inside out. the pill i am using is called: DORYX DR 150 MG TABLET. also, if you know of anything i should watch out for, please notify me of that as well. thanks for your time.

Understanding your concern. As per your query acne on face which occurs when sebum get accumulated along with dead skin and bacteria in clogged pore of sebaceous gland. It occurs because of stress and hormonal changes, environmental changes as well. You are already taking prescribed medication for facial acne, need not to worry. You can use veet cream for legs if your skin is not sensitive to that. Apply betnovate on acne twice a day for 2-3 days. Exfoliate your skin one a week to remove the dead skin from your face. If condition doesn't start getting better in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment. You can go for chemical peeling and laser therapy.
