Will Yeast Medication Help For Pink, Cottage Cheese Like Discharge?

i have this light pink cottage cheese discharge and took one applicator of metronidazole that i had left over for an prior infection. Should i go out and buy yeast infection medication...i wont be able to talk to my doctor until Monday and my vaginal is making me uncomfortable (feels dry and sore) ??
