Winter Causing Discomfort. Face, Eyes Swollen, Stuffy, Painful Nose. How To Get Relief?

Hello doc! winter is causing some discomfort around my nose . when i wake up everyday since last week my face is swollen, nose stuffy and the top bone of my nose hurts !!.. my eyes are also swollen. and during night time if i cover my nose with a soft cloth or blanket it gives my nose way better feelings but i can t keep it during sleep, unknowingly i uncover my nose.. so i end up with a stuffy , painful nose and dry eyes . After reading your post, it seems that you might be having allergic rhinitis.

You can take antihistamine like fexofenadine 120 mg once daily along with an decongestant like phenylephrine.

Steam inhalation can help in relieving your symptoms.

If the problem persists, get yourself clinically examined and investigated.
