With History Of Miscarriage And Pituitary Microadenoma When Can Pregnancy Be Attempted?
I really want to try and conceive now if its safe, please help! I had a natural miscarriage 7/9/11 with an hcg 6, on 7/18 my hcg was 10 and today 7/19/11 the bleeding has stopped. Is this normal and can I start trying to conceive now? Also I just turned 39, 5'5, and 135lbs, first mc and have a healthy 4 yo boy. Only other history is pituitary microadenoma which I take 2.5mg po bid which I resumed immediately after mc. Thank you so very much for your time and help, Lisa
Wait for 6 months prior to conceiving next time. This will allow your uterus become healthy to become pregnant again and also recurrence of miscarriage will be less. Take folic acid 5 mg periconceptionally.
