With The 24HR On The Refill,do I Need To Still Take The Medicine Twice A Day?

The original perscription was for DILTIAZEM 240MG CD take twice a day. A refill from a new pharmacy is for CARTIA XT 240/24HR to be taken twice a day. With the 24 HR on the refill, do I need to still take the medicin twice a day or does that mean that the one pill lasts 24 hours?

I wonder why you are on such high dose of 480 mg/day (maximum dose)
Anyway, the drug is meant to be taken once a day, as its action nearly lasts for 24 hrs. Hope this helped.
