Blemishes around the eye may not respond to elocon cream as elocon is a topical steroid and in fact it will induce atrophy if applied for a long time. Also accidental inoculation into the eye can cause adverse effects.Emolene however is an emolient and may be continued as it increases the suppleness of the skin.Topical Vitamin E and topical tretinoin are the other treatment options.Drinking plenty of water and taking plenty of citrous fruits will also help.Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy.Regards
