Would Angioplasty Help In Peripheral Arterial Disease In The Legs?
I seen my surgeon on Friday 20th June. i have Peripheral Artiel Desease in both legs I last seen him 6 months ago for the first time i had a problem walking, at that time been on tablets all that time, first time seen him he said could not justify operation as i walking 2miles a day but could have been a bypass on one leg and a balloon on the other leg. On Friday he asked how far i walked i said 3 miles a day but struggled and felt sickly, i explained to him that i am seperating from long term partner and worry when on my own it gets really bad. He said he would see if i can have angioplasty, i then asked if i could have the bypass he then asked if i had money to which i said i didnt. I am wandering about a second opinion if it would make a difference, and would the angioplasty help both legs.
