General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection. I suggest using a mucolytic such as Ambroxol to treat the phlegm. Betadine is not a proper treatment for the phlegm. I also recommend to drink liquids.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Regards,
