I took life insurance test and fasted...lost 10 lbs but healthy... The day my blood was taken I hadn't had water in 24 hrs... got the flu so my GFR waiting was 45.24 and creatinine was 191.... would fasting and flu have something to do? I just saw doctor and they said dehydrated.. and retest. Thoughts?

Dear sir , greetings from HCM I understand your concern. Yes severe dehydration could lead to pre renal failure. You rehydrate and check the values after a week or so.
Thanks
