Would Increased Abdominal Pressure And Cramping Be Due To Menopause Or A Different Health Concern?

My lab results today are - Hgb - 10, Fe 18, Fe sat 3, Ferritin 9, transferrin 412, Fe binding capacity 515. My BP - 150/89. All out of the ordinary for me. I ran/walked 4 miles this morning. I do have increased abd pressure and cramping with my menstrual cycle. I was presuming this is from menopause. What are your thoughts?

Hello welcome to the health care magic.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Your mentioned blood report is suggestive of iron deficiency anemia. For that ferrous ascorbate tablet with elemental iron 100 mg can be prescribed. For abdominal pressure and menstrual cramp pelvic examination and USG is advisable. In perimenopausal syntoms hot flash, breast tenderness, irregular menstruation can occur. So that seems less likely. I suggest you to consult gynecologist for examination.

Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
