Would Light Period With Pinkish Blood, After Unprotected Sex, Indicate Pregnancy?

Three days after my period finished I had unprotected sex with my partner as I forgot to start my pill. Then a week later I didn't take my again for two days and had unprotected sex. Ive now had a very light period brownish/dark red colour. Could I be pregnant?

Hi,
The way you took your pill suggests that you have not been amply protected in this cycle and as such, carry the risk of conception if you happened to have intercourse during the fertile period. The cause of the spotting is perhaps a breakthrough bleed as a result of the irregular pill usage. Also, you should definitely exclude pregnancy. Since a HPT may not be of much use in this context, please get serum beta-hCG levels assessed to exclude/confirm pregnancy. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
