Would Lobate GM Work To Eliminate Skin Infection And If Not, What Medicine Would Work?
Hello sir/ma'am
I am 22 year man, looking for advise on which madicine to be used when we are sufferring with interal skin infection. It's looks like fungus or bacterial infection. Please advise. I have lobate-GM. Will it work or should i cunsult to doctor?
If i as your treating doctor i would have asked you to apply an antifungal cream like the one containing clotrimazole, ketoconazole, sertaconazole Or Luliconazole etc.
Lobate GM is not advisable because it contains a potent steroid which can damage the delicate skin of groins.
I would advice that you see a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis and also for prescription of medicines(antifungals). Your treating dermatologist might also want to prescribe you an oral antifungal like fluconazole
An oral antihistamine like cetrizine once daily will help you with the itch part.
take care regards
