Would Smoking Before A Surgery A Matter Of Concern?

I am getting a ultrasound for a possible hernia in a few days, and might have to get surgery a week or so afterwards. Im not a heavy pot user, and havent smoked any in nearly a year, but a special occasion is coming up and I would like too. Would using it just once at least a week before the surgery hurt me?

not.... reallly...... me and about 16% of the population get significant asthma like symptoms from a single puff. That would be a problem IF you have the asthma attack right before the surgery. If you don't think you have this, it's really unlikely for you to have it and NOT KNOW IT. Otherwise the regular marijuana isn't very risky. The synthetic type ! that is another matter entirely, while marijuana does increase heart rate and blood pressure to an insignificant degree, the artificial/synthetic pot increases it so much that there have been a few deaths from it.
