Hi,

Macrobiotic is an antibiotic. It does not have any effect on menstrual cycle. However, the infection itself, effects of infection and stress due to all the factors in infection, can cause hormonal imbalance. This can cause period irregularity. Reliable pregnancy test results are obtained with home pregnancy test, done after 8 days delay in periods. You need to repeat it at a proper time for a confirmed result.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
