Would Treatment For Vertigo Help Treat Tinnitus?

I received a slap across my ear about 12 hours ago. Although I have a high pitched ring nothing else was a problem until now. I now have unusual pain near the top of my neck what seems to be inside my ear. I am a tinnitus suffer and have been receiving the epley treatment for vertigo over the last 3 years.

epleys is a manoeuvre for vertigo..drugs for vertigo can help to some extent for tinnitis but not this manoeuvre..get yourself checked from an ENT specialist. slap can result into a traumatic perforation in the ar drum..till than don't use any ear drops...keep the ear dry..traumatic perforation heals of its own in 2-3 months..and the tinnitis will also be treated..
secondly, there can be a nerve damage due to noise trauma..
