Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Your X ray is abnormal that is showing fibrosis and radiopacity left upper zone.
It is always necessary to correlate these finding clinically.
One of the common cause is pulmonary tuberculosis this is active or old healed one to be decided by history and other tests in blood.
If you have been treated for PTB in past then healed fibrosis persists.
There are other possibilities according to X ray includes,Lung collapse, Fibrosis, pulmonary, Interstitial lung disease, and Atelectasis.
Please visit Physician who ordered X ray to correlate clinically and to treat your condition if treatment is required.
Seriousness depends on cause if it is due to tuberculosis and active then treatment is required for 6 months.
If old healed one then no treatment and other condition need treatment according to cause.
Take care

Good Luck.

Hi and welcome to Healthcare magic. Thank you for your querry.
Well if ptb means pulmonary tuberculosis then it might be serious because tuberculosis is serious infection. If you dont have symptoms it seems like this is inactive stage, but consult your pulmologist about treatment becasue it might be neccessary for someone at your age.WIsh you good health.
