X-ray Shows Suspicious Densities Obscured By Osseous Structures. Meaning?
Hi Im Denice, 24 years old. i would like to ask what does it means by this xray result: Suspicious densities are seen in the right upper lobe, obscured by overlying osseous structures, there is an increased in the cardiac transverse diameter. diaphragm and costophrenic sulci are intact. I need to clear this for my employment thank you so much for the help.
Your X-ray report suggests that there is some doubtful lesions in right upper lobe which can’t be evaluated properly due to overlying bones there.
You need separate apical view for seeing apical portion of lungs. If it is still doubtful then CT scan can be done.
Transverse diameter of heart is also increased means there is cardiomegaly in transverse diameter.
Rest of the findings are normal.
Hope you have understand the terms.
Take Care
