Yellow Discharge, Abdominal Cramp And Back Pain During 13th Week Of Pregnancy. Suggest If I Have To Meet Doctor.
I am 13 weeks pregnant, 26years old. I have subclinical hypothyroidism so I am taking (25mcg three days and 50 mcg four days a week)thyronorm.About 22 days ago, my TSH was 1.7. Now I am having yellow vaginal discharge on toilet paper and also abdominal cramp and back pain. Do i need to worry. I am thinking to visit my doctor tomorrow.Give me suggestions please. I would be grateful.
Hello, Firstly, I would like to know why you have been taking different doses of thyroxine. If this was advised by your consultant, it is fine. Otherwise, I would ask you to take the same dose everyday as required. The requirement of thyroxine supplement increases as pregnancy advances. The presence of yellowish discharge calls for local examination along with urinalysis and a vaginal swab. Any infection should be controlled immediately with necessary medication and genital hygiene maintained. A sonogram may also be needed to assess the status of the pregnancy. Hope this helps.
